I would really appreciate some help here... have tried various ways of getting rid of this blasted pop-up but to no avail. Surely this hasgot to be illegal? I did try and call them to discuss the matter but was threatened with the bailiffs! At the time the pop-ups appeared on my screen, I was 9 months pregnant! Sex sites aren't really a pregnant women's thing, I can assure you. So I wouldlike to know what gives them the right to violate my computer, because that's what it feels like. I work from home and everytime the pop-up appears, it takes up most of the screen and makes it impossible for me use my computer. I have to run Norton which removes it temporarily and then I can get on with my day until the next time it decides to rear its ugly head...
Could Watchdog be approached? I am a woman with a mission: I will do anything to close these cretins down!

Laurita:  Have you tried System Restore?  Be sure, though, to remove all other restore points after your restore so that your pc cannot 'remember' the software.  You also need to make sure you restore to at least three days before the pop ups first appeared - I'd suggest a week, to be safe.

It's worth looking in your system 32 folder to see what files might have been downloaded.

I've also heard that Prevx works well, as with Brute Force Uninstaller.  Have you tried these options?

Before you do any of this, though, could you download your Internet Explorer History?  Take a look at Michael Pollitt's webpages on this as it will help you.

If you need further help with any of this, please post again.
