A letter dated 09 February 2009 from Platte Media claims that their Company Number is 1391058, and that their registered address is PO Box 9934, CM6 1XZ.  To the best of my knowledge a company's registered office cannot be a PO Box number.  Furthermore, a search has shown me that the number stated belongs to Trengar Manufacturing Co Ltd of Birmingham, and that Trengar Manufacturing is dissolved.

Hi Paperhouse

I also did some digging on the company house website I also phoned them to ask how to register a company, I did ask them can I use a PO Box number.

There reply was NO when you register a company there has to be HUMAN CONTACT at that address.

There so call registered address is at 40 Gerrard St. London, that address is shared by a Chinese Restaurant, Solicitors, Entertainment Company there is no human contact from Platte anywhere in the building according to a couple of phone calls I made to the restaurant and the solicitors.

But the solicitors did say they use the address for Mail Pickup..........

So MR Bateup or Platte have you got any comments you would like to share with us on this matter.

Best way from this issue is to complain to the C.I.B. ( Companies Investigation Branch )

they can be found here http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/cib/index.htm
