Please use this section to help everybody keep track of the MPs who have been contacted about the activities of Platte by posting the name of any MP who has received a letter of complaint.

If you do not wish your forum ID to appear alongside, email me (Forum Friend) with the name of the MP and I will post it up for you.  Wink

Thanks, minihaha.  If you've had any information from him, perhaps you'll email me privately.  Glad you think this section is helpful. Smiley

Hello, I have just completed a letter to my MP, Ashok Kumar and included copies of letters that I've written to OFT and Trading Standards.

When Platte Media asks for someone's name and address, I wonder what would happen if that someone gave the name and address of their MP instead.  If the MP was then bombarded with demands and threats, perhaps the MP might look seriously into the matter.  Now there's an idea!

Hi All:-

Can the people who have contacted there MP please supply me with there MPs names and Constituency they represent....
This is so I can pass on the list to my MP Ruth Kelly, Who I will be seeing this friday afternoon..
Also can someone supply me with a rough estimate on how many people have been hit by this company, so that she will know how big this problem is...

If the OFT are not prepared to take action, I think Court Action should be taken out against this company on the grounds of:-

Breach of The Computer Misuse Act

To FF:-

If you still have my telephone number could you please give me a ring between 5 - 6pm.....

Steve
