Webuser Magazine - new article on MBS

The following article has appeared very recently in Webuser magazine about MBS.  As it is split into two postings, there are two separate links:

Webuser forums (which I help to Moderate) was inundated with MBS related issues a few months back which prompted my own research into the matter. Unfortunately, the Editor of the magazine requested recently that all help removing the software should cease until the legal standpoint was clearer. Of all the forums I help out on, this is the first and only to actively stop providing help to remove the ransomware.

It's understandable I suppose - it's far easier to simply remove information when there's a sniff of a possible lawsuit around the corner than to continue when you're a large publisher.

I know several web sites with large readerships which I could post stories about this to, but would feel uncomfortable doing so as they're bigger targets.

Of course, if the legal retort from MBS is simply that people remove information from web sites, the damage is minimal, except the time it takes to find and remove info.
