 dear all

  i read the threat of platte solicitors of taking legal action against and and lee.

 i send two e-mails to platte warning of the fraud subscription and phoned them
sen to them an e-mail and they denied they received it so i send them a copy of the first e-mail together with a new e-mail in these two e-mails i make it clear to them that that this is a fraud subscription and it should be canceled with immediate effect and they should remove the icon from my computer, also the bill they asked to pay will not be paid for the reasons mentioned above.
this happened more than four weeks ago.
i received nothing from platte so far.
as the software was installed on my computer without my knowledge or my consent( whatever platte claim about this fancy seven screens and pin number and all that waffle), so it is not legal and it is within my legal right to remove the soft ware from my computer, which i did.
if they are really concerned about their customer( which definitely i am not one of them with my absolute respect to them) they should have answered me as they know how to contact me.
 i have nothing against porn sites or those who want to watch it, it is legal so long as you are above legal age they are free to do what they like, but, and this is a big but, i will not agree of being forced or unknowingly subscripted to a site what ever that site is and a soft ware downloaded to my computer through the back door and asked to pay for a service that i did not requested it not only that but also to be threatened of taking a legal action if i do not pay, where is the logic in that.
also i did not know what site i am alleged to have joined till i got in touch with platte and i was told that the site called getfilmnow, i have never been into that site nor watched any film on that site whether descent film or other wise
and if platte can prove that, then there is a big security gap in there system in which case platte should be more concerned to look into which i strongly recommend them to do and stop hassling and threatening .
i welcome platte comment(hopefully) or any other comment on that.
lastly, i personally will not use platte soft ware to remove the pro gramme from my computer, it is a matter of trust, due to the way the software was downloaded onto my computer.

Like the great majority of respondents on this forum you have been targeted by a highly sophisticated criminal scam.

Even worse is the lack of remedial action by the UK government authorities, police, OFT etc who through corruption, indifference or incompetence have abjectly failed to protect us, the UK citizen, whom they exist to serve.

MBS / Platte and their lawyers have threatened legal action against some victims if they do not pay up or if they attempt to help their fellow victims.  I say 'bring it on', as it is a 'war' they will not win;  they should remember that in a 'war' very few rules apply.

To this Forum's moderators I would say the same, ignore the threats from MBS / Platte or their lawyers.

I have been free of their virus for 10 days now, so have no personal axe to grind but the principle has been established that anyone can do almost anything on the internet, including committing criminal acts of demanding money with menaces, and get away with it IF THOSE ABUSEBYIT DO NOT FIGHT BACK but merely acquiesce to intimidation.
