hello all

it seems we are all having the same problem. platte insist that the software will only be installed on the computer and only after going through pages on each of these a warning that it is a pay site. i have not come across such a process on registration nor been to that site and registered for the service. the time they said the registration took place was 1.10 am of 29/03.08, i was on the computer at that time looking for motion capture sites for computer graphics animation. i came across a site called
[edited out for safety. Andy]. at the left side column there was three porn icons which moved later to the bottom of the screen and become four icons, i must admit that i clicked on those icons and came back to the site and downloaded few of the motion capture files.
as i need to have an idea about the coast of paying for more files the way to contact the owner is to click on his site address [edited out for safety. Andy]. after clicking on it i received a warning from fire fox saying that i may be directed to a different site which i agreed that site was for a company in
India and i think the site probably on someway gather information from the copmuter while you are viewing the site even before being registered, reading through terms of the site it indicates that any collected information or given information will be used by them in a way they see it ok from their point of view.
i came back to the original site for motion capture to see whether i have been involved in any thing suspicious ., an d came off the internet. on the first of april the you know what platte icon appear, and the story kicked from there.
